If you are a lover of sugar scrubs but not ants ? not to worry. The oils that are used in the formulations for our sugar scrubs do not attract them. Testing has shown that even opened containers left outside do not attract this pesky insect. They may be attracted to plain sugar left in a jar on the counter, but the oils deter their curiosity. Make sure that you don?t allow the scrub to separate while you are applying or allow sugar to be left on the floor of the bathroom, tub, or shower. Separated sugar is yummy to ants and will attract them, so be aware. If you are concerned still, just make sure that you keep the lid on your sugar scrub while not in use.
