A Note of Caution - Essential Oils Are Very Potent
Never use essential oils undiluted, or in any manner other than the precise recipes recommended. Do not exceed the stated number of drops suggested in any essential oil recipe.
- Never ingest or take orally
- Never apply to sensitive areas, cuts, or broken skin if an oil blend causes irritation or any form of reaction, wash the skin immediately, add a little almond or other bland oil to the affected area, and consult your physician
- Never apply undiluted oils directly to your skin
- Keep oils away from your eyes, never apply on or near eye area should you get any oil or oils in your eyes, flush immediately and seek medical attention
- If you are pregnant consult your physician before using any essential oil
- DO NOT use sweet almond oil if you have an allergy to nuts replace with another carrier oil
- People with known allergies should consult a qualified aromatherapist prior to use of ANY essential oil
- Treatment of serious illnesses are best left to medical professionals, do not self diagnose or self treat. Please consult your primary physician prior to attempting any holistic measures.
